This is a 70 minute Deep Relaxation CD with 3 ambient music tracks embedded with brainwave entrainment for inducing relaxing alpha brainwaves. This is not a guided relaxation cd. There are no scripts or voices in this cd.

The tracks on this CD include:

Alpha Relaxation 1: Track 1 is 25 minutes and uses binaural beats and ambient music.

Alpha Relaxation 2: Track 2 is 20 minutes and uses isochronic tones and ambient music

Alpha Dissociation: Track 3 is 25 minutes and uses isochronic tones and ambient music.

Binaural beats and isochronic tones are heard in the background of the soothing ambient music as a continuous beating sound throughout the entire length of the CD. Technically the binaural beats and isochronic tones are of main importance in the CD, not the ambient music (even though the ambient music is more pleasant to listen to).

The binaural beats and isochronic tones in the Deep Relaxation CD are set at alpha frequencies for producing relaxation.

The alpha level (12 hz - 8 hz) is associated with a non-drowsy but relaxed, tranquil state of consciousness, primarily with pleasant inward awareness; body/mind integration. Alpha includes light relaxation, mood elevation, stress reduction, etc., characterized by intuitive insights, creative "juice", inspiration, motivation. Relaxed, yet alert, alpha is a fine line between daydreaming and alertness; Alpha waves are associated with calm, relaxed, lucid mental states, dream sleep & pleasant drifting feelings or emotions. Promotes mental resourcefulness, aids in mental coordination, enhances relaxation, alpha waves indicate a person is alert but not actively processing information, seen more in extroverts than introverts, seen during creative problem solving.

The Deep Relaxation CD is great to use in the middle of the day when you need to take a time out from the daily stress of life. It can also be used upon awakening in the morning, or even at night when you are ready to relax. It is recommended that you use stereo headphones for optimal results.

Details

The first track is 25 minutes in length and it utilizes binaural beats to help bring the listener's brainwaves to a relaxation alpha level. The track begins at 13 hz and curves down to 10 hz and remains at 10 hz throughout most of track 1.

The second track is 20 minutes in length and is designed similar to the first track except that it is embedded with isochronic tones which begin at 13 hz and then curve down to 9 hz, and remains there for the remainder of track 2.

The third track is a deep, relaxing alpha session that stimulates each ear with a slightly different alpha frequencies in order to produce a dissociating effect.
