Our Visualization DVD is now available as 9 individual avi files (works in windows media player, real player etc.) in our Visualization Download Package for those of you who prefer to access the visualizations immediately after your purchase, rather than ordering the DVD via postal mail.

The dvd itself is not intended for windows media palyer, or real player, but works best on home dvd players (set-top dvd players), as well as dvd players on computers.

If you plan on purchasing the Visualization Download Package keep in mind that the avi files are VERY LARGE (between 300 MB and 400 MB each). And there are 9 of them. It will take at least 9 hours to download all 9 from our website if you have a DSL connection, but much faster if you have high speed internet. If you have dial up I don't recommend purchaisng the download version because it will probably take you a few days to download all 9 files.

MusicMeFree.com's visualization dvd and Visualization Download Package consists of 9 different ambient soundscapes (most of which last for 6 minutes each, the last track lasts for 5 minutes). Each track or file has its own unique visualization. All the files are embedded with monaural beats. Monaural beats are similar to binaural beats and are known to entrain the brain to certain frequency levels thus inducing feelings of relaxation, peace, wellbeing etc. depending upon the frequency playing in the background.

The first track consists of ambient sounds embedded with monaural beats set at 10 hz. The 2nd track is embedded with monaural beats set at 9 hz, the next is at 8 hz, the one after that is set at 7 hz......and on down to the last track which is set at 2 hz. The carrier frequency (pitch) likewise in each soundtrack gets slower as the dvd progresses. The visualizations flow, sometimes faster, sometimes in slow motion. In the first track the carrier frequency is set at 115 hz, and by the time the last track is playing the carrier frequency is at 75 hz. There is a pause between each track, a short space of no sound, no visualizations - just silence - as one track fades out and a new one begins. You also have the option of returning to the menu on the dvd to select the specific hz level you want to listen to (whether 10 hz, 9 hz, 8 hz.....3 hz, 2 hz). Or you can just click on the first track on the menu and allow the dvd to play to the end (and you can also loop it to play over and over.)

Monaural beats can be heard in the background of each soundtrack. As the carrier frequency and monaural beats get lower you will hear the monaural beats as a slow pulsating sound, but it will be a faster thumping sound when you are listening to, for example, the 10 hz soundtrack which has a 115 hz pitch or carrier frequency (see samples below).

The dvd is designed to bring you deeper and deeper into a relaxed state of mind. It is therefore best to use this dvd at night when you are ready to relax. Stereo headphones are recommended. You don't necessarily have to sit there and watch the visualizations. That is optional. Instead you may prefer to just lie down and close your eyes as you are gradually led deeper and deeper by the entrainment of the monaural beats.

The DVD is set up with a menu. This means when you place the DVd in your DVd player a menu will open up and you will be able to select where you want to start. If you start at track one (10 hz) then the DVD will play from the beginning and play through all 9 tracks. Or, you can skip around much like watching a regular dvd.

If you purchase the download version you are free to burn all 9 files on your own DVD for personal use.
