The Chakra Balancing Video (DVD) consists of the audio of our Chakra Mp3 (Binaural Beats Version), with the additional features of flowing colors which correspond to the colors of the 7 main Chakra's (which correspond with the 7 colors of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet).
The video is 1 hour, 10 minutes in length and can be used with or without headphones.
If you want the full effect of the binaural beats you need to use headphones because binaural beats are actually phantom tones produced by the brain when a different tone is played in each ear.
However, without headphones (if you have a good speaker system) you will hear a different ringing tone for each visualization as you listen to and watch the video. The tones will be heard slightly above the music and sound effects.
There are several chakras in the subtle body, but there are 7 main charkas. Their location corresponds to the human spine starting at the base of the spine and running to the crown of the head. Each of the 7 main chakras correspond to the seven notes on a musical scale (C, D, E, F, G, A, B). And each chakra also has a corresponding color (seven colors of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet). Colors, like sound/vibration, can have an impact on our body's energies. They can help to clear negative emotions and energy and restore balance. See the chart below for the corresponding color and note for each chakra.

A newer method for stimulating the chakras, but not as well-known, is the use of chakra frequencies i.e. listening to frequencies that correspond to the frequency of each chakra. It just so happens that each of the 7 main chakras closely (not exactly) correspond with the notes on the musical scale:
Musical Scale - C, do (264 Hz) | root chakra (256 hz and 194.18 hz)
Musical Scale - D, re (297 Hz) | sacral (naval) chakra (288 hz and 210.42 hz)
Musical Scale - E, mi (330 Hz) | solar plexus chakra (320 hz and 126.22 hz)
Musical Scale - F, fa (352 Hz) | heart chakra (341 hz and 136.10 hz)
Musical Scale - G, so (396 Hz) | throat chakra (384 hz and 141.27 hz)

Side Note: Although there are different opinions about the musical notations, frequencies, and colors associated with the chakras, I have include the most common opinion in what I am sharing here. The different musical notes or frequencies, and colors of the 7 main chakras, can help us understand why we feel different, more relaxed and less stressed, or on the other hand more agitated, more anxiety, depression, or stress, when we listen to certain styles of music, sound vibrations or frequencies.
In the video we have included both frequencies for each Chakra (although in the video itself we mention the following as the main Chakra frequencies: 194.18hz, 210.42hz, 126.22hz, 136.10hz, 141.27hz, 221.23hz, 172.06hz). You will hear all the frequencies as you listen to the video. If you use headphones the phantom binaural beats will be heard at the following frequencies: 8hz, 9hz, 10hz, 10.5hz, 11hzz, 13hz, 15hz.
Sound effects in the video include:
- a earthquake rumble (the root chakra's element is earth).
- water (the element of the sacral or naval chakra is water).
- the sound of crakling fire (the element of the solar plexus chakra is fire).
- air (wind) which is the element of the heart chakra.
The element of the throat chakra is akasha (ether - the regions of space beyond the earth's atmosphere), and the element of the brow chakra is light. So when you get to the throat chakra in the Chakra Mp3 you will hear a deep space ambient music track.
The element of the 6th Chakra is light
The element of the 7th chakra (crown chakra) is cosmic consciousness. We simply inserted chimes which you will hear when you get to the 7th chakra in the mp3. Chimes, among other sounds, are sometimes heard in deep meditation.
Different forms of sound therapy have been used by many cultures for thousands of years. Sound vibrations influence us on a physical/etheric, emotional/astral, mental/causal, and spiritual level. Our body and chakra centers resonate at certain vibrations or sound frequencies. If any part of our body or chakra is out of balance, it can gradually be brought back into balance by listening to a sound frequency for the corresponding body part or chakra. Through the use of sound therapy eventually any disturbances in the body or chakras will soon resonate to the vibration thus producing the right frequency in the body's organ or chakra center. Color also has vibrations.
Side Note: This process can open the sub conscious and unconscious mind and release unpleasant thoughts, emotions or memories. It is all part of the healing process.
